Residing in the Mansion Flats Neighborhood of Downtown Sacramento, our flagship coffee shop is a registered historic building built in 1861 with a past full of political, business, religious and artist owners. It's original design was Italianate, though in the 1890's it was remodeled to add Queen Anne bay windows, making it a unique cross between two of America's most iconic building styles.

The Benouar family who owns, maintains and operates the building and coffee shop, made sure to restore the historic building, which was dilapidated due to years of vacancy, to its previous grandeur without changing any aspect of the facade.

We here at Milka Coffee Roasters believe that old and new can mingle and meld under our roof and that we can remind everyone to chill out, enjoy and explore, because we all love so many more things about coffee than just coffee.
